Tim Greenzweig
I enjoy designing software for people who need technology to enhance their work, not get in the way of it.
Background
I'm a principal product designer based in Seattle with over 25 years of multidisciplinary design expertise spanning UX strategy, product design, and brand systems — with a focus on connection, clarity, and human-centered impact.
I've created solutions across healthcare, retail, aviation, and enterprise — from care navigation tools for patients navigating complex benefits, to operational apps for retail floors and airline ramps. The common thread: helping people reduce cognitive demand and make sound decisions under pressure, whether they're a pilot mid-preflight, a floor associate with a customer waiting, or a member trying to find the right therapist.
Philosophy
I believe the fastest way to help someone is to design an interface they don't have to think about. Invisible is the goal. Not invisible in a vague, aspirational sense — invisible in the sense that the tool disappears and the work is all that's left.
Passionate about designing for efficiency, trust, and usability. Experienced leading ambiguous initiatives across web and native platforms, influencing product direction, and shaping digital ecosystems that balance business objectives with authentic user needs.
Currently
I'm currently Senior Principal Product Designer at Transcarent (formerly PlushCare, acquired by Accolade in 2022, and by Transcarent in 2025) — design lead for personalized care navigation and behavioral health experiences serving members across diverse employer benefits, coverage types, and clinical needs.
Promoted to Senior Principal in recognition of cross-team influence on integration and personalization strategy across the member experience. I partner with PMs, engineers, researchers, and clinical stakeholders to shape services that meet members where they are.
Open to advising and small studio engagements. If you have something worth designing carefully, get in touch.
Education
Master of Science in Human-Centered Design & Engineering, University of Washington. Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design, Iowa State University. The degrees gave me a research and visual foundation; 25 years of shipping software gave me the rest.
